Indian MPs probe telecom scandal

Police have accused Mr Raja bribes from two companies that are now the local joint venture partners of Telenor and Etisalat have taken.

The Ministry of telecommunications is considering or cancel some 85 certificates that the audit report says are issued to enterprises that are not eligible for them were.

Many of India's largest business names have already made, including billionaires Anil Ambani, Chairman of Reliance ADA group, and Prashant Ruia, chief executive of Essar group.

Mr Raja denies misconduct. Last year he was forced to resign over the issue.
